Hays Field (formerly Chaparral Stadium) is a baseball park located on the campus of Lubbock Christian University in Lubbock, Texas. It is the home field of the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals baseball team.
==History==
Chaparral Stadium was dedicated on April 29, 1978. In 1999, the ballpark was renamed Hays Field to honor the Hays family, including former Chaparals baseball head coach Larry Hays.〔http://www.lcuchaps.com/sports/2014/7/2/BB_0702143610.aspx〕 Hays Field has hosted NAIA regionals in 1987, 1991, and 1999.〔http://lubbockonline.com/stories/012199/051-1152.shtml〕
